About Us
The Goldsboro Optimist Club has been serving the youth of our community since 1957. The motto for Optimist International is "Friend of Youth" and locally, we strive to live up to that motto in everything that we do.
As times become more dificult, we must all work together to ensure our youth are receiving all of the tools and guidance needed to lead fulfilling and productive lives.
All Goldsboro Optimists wear many hats in the service of our youth. We teach, we mentor, we nurture, we guide, we talk, we listen, we care. Whatever is needed, we strive to provide.
